Smiling Birds Illusion

Confusing Color Optical Illusion

As quickly as you can, say the color of each word. (For instance, for the word "red," you will say "green.") Were you confused? Probably!

Experts aren't sure, but many scientists believe that one reason people have difficulty with this puzzle is because your brain is "primed," or prepared, to picture things the same color as the written word. (That's why this is called a "priming" illusion.) So if the word "red" is actually colored green, then that makes things confusing!

While most humans can see color, scientists aren't sure which animals can.

One possible clue is that if an animal is brightly colored, the species can probably see color. That would make sense: Color is a way some animals attract mates.

The 2 red balls in the middle are identical in size and shape , but the left one looks more bigger than the right. Try ignoring the cannon shot.

Gray Haze Optical Illusion

Stare at the black dot for 20 or 30 seconds. Just concentrate this is amazing.Did anything change to lift that grayness, or was it just a shift in your mood?

Lines or Jesus Illusion ?

There is a Jesus face in this image,You might need to stare at the lines for a few minutes, but after a little while you’ll begin to see the outline of a figure. I found it helpful to actually step away from the monitor to really see the image pop out or just close your eyes a bit in front of monitor.

Obviously, this is an optical illusion. But it was also an entry in some sort of design competition or an ad or something. If anyone knows more about where this came from please share with the rest of us.

Old Woman Or Young Lady Illusion

The picture originates from 1888 in Germany & was first seen public ally on a postcard for the “Anchor Buggy Co” with a caption that reads “You see my wife, but where is my mother in Law?”

The illusion plays on what is called Perceptual Ambiguity, looking at certain regions of the image your mind will play towards one of the enclosed images. For example, staring at the necklace will tilt you more towards seeing the old women whereas staring at the nose will lean you towards the young woman.

Moving Circles Illusion

You can see how this optical illusion seems to move and shift? Most people can see this optical illusion move and shift if they look at it for a short while.
Since we live in a 3D world, our mind tries to convert a 2D object into a 3D one. In this optical illusion, we try to make sense of these 2D objects. The shading used is completely incongruous. The eyes lock onto a part of the illustration that looks appropriately shaded but then find it disjointed with shading in other nearby areas. The eyes keep jumping around the drawing trying to map out a 3-D solution that would make the shading illustration make sense, but it never seems to work.

Tracking Eyes Optical Illusion

The Face in this image looks like, looking directly at you, even if you move to the right or left? or any direction.

Our eyes are extremely adept at looking for the perfect roundness in another person’s eyes. If we see a perfectly round pupil it means that they are looking at us. Even amazingly small deviations from circular can be detected.
In this optical illusion, the pupils remain perfectly round and look like they follow us when we move.
